Last August, lacrosse youth took an overnight trip hosted by USFS and Fond du Lac Tribe of Lake Superior Chippewa to learn about forest ecology and protecting Ash species from invasive species/ climate change and manoomin harvesting by the Band. Twin Cities Native Lacrosse Youth Receive $50,000 NFL Legacy Grant

Twin Cities Native Lacrosse staff, families and youth want to say a big Chi Migwech/ Pidamaya/Thank you to the NFL Legacy Fund, Viktor the Viking and EJ Henderson of the Minnesota Vikings, The Minneapolis Foundation, Tiwahe Foundation, Migizi Communications, Legacy Rehabilitation Group, Minnesota State Rep. Mary Kunesh-Podein and Minnesota State Rep. Jim Davnie, John and Sally Hunter, and most of all our youth, without whom this would not be possible.

And special thanks to Lucie Skjefte Design for our team logo, and Matt Mollergren at Wrap City Graphics for the install on the new team van, and to Ryan Flanders at Corcoran Park for allowing us to use the field for practice and play!
