Mark your calendar now for an afternoon of learning and fun!
We had such a great time last Spring with John Hunter and the Twin Cities Native Lacrosse League players that we have invited them back this year! Spend an enjoyable afternoon learning about the history and skills of traditional Native American lacrosse and playing the Creator’s Game.
We will gather in the cafeteria for a short presentation and then head to the gym — or outside, weather permitting — to play a game of lacrosse. Dress for the weather and invite your family and friends. All ages can play!
The goal of Twin Cities Native Lacrosse League is to create teams of Native youth and teach them the culture and skills of lacrosse. Currently, the league forms teams of all ages and genders to play in games against local teams. In the future, they hope to invite Native lacrosse teams from across the Midwest to the Twin Cities to compete.
